A system subject to degradation is considered. The modelled by a gamma process. condition-based maintenance policy with perfect corrective and an imperfect preventive actions proposed. cost derived considering Markov-renewal statistical inference of the parameters maximum likelihood method investigated. sensibility analysis different carried out perspectives are detailed.
